On the first Sunday in September the traditional »Soška regata« will take place in Solkan. A friendly descent along the Soča river from Solkan to Peuma.

Kajak klub Soške elektrarne is hosting The National championship for younger categories in wildwater slalom. The competition will take place on course in Solkan Kajak Center.
